Simple answer is yes it is. When performed by a trained professional CryoFreeze is used safely in small amounts to ensure healthy surrounding skin isn’t compromised and to minimise any discomfort.
You can’t fully prevent your child from getting a wart or verucca, however good hygiene habits can help guard against these viruses spreading from child to child.
- Wash your child’s hands and feet regularly
- If your child has a scratch, cut, or scrape, wash the area thoroughly and dress it while it’s healing
- Avoid letting your child walk barefoot in public places like pools and gyms – encourage the wearing of flip-flops or sandals
- Don’t let your child share towels
- Change your child’s socks every day and keep their feet clean and dry.
To help prevent existing areas spreading to other parts of your child’s body to another, discourage your child from:
- Biting his or her nails
- Scratching and /or picking at them.
- Covering the areas with a waterproof plaster
It’s kills viruses like warts and verrucas by freezing the blood supply, and skin lesions by freezing the damaged cells so they die off. It can also treat milia and pigmentation.
For a few seconds It’s stings slightly, treatment times are fast and effective.
